Thank you for taking the time to explore my work! I’m Christina, the owner and lead photographer of Fotobean Photography in Grand Junction, Colorado. I specialize in senior portraits, family photography, weddings, business portraits, and special events throughout Grand Junction and Western Colorado. My goal is to create timeless, authentic images that celebrate each person’s individuality and preserve life’s most meaningful moments.
My love for photography began when I was a child. I would use an entire roll of film photographing a single sunset because I wanted to capture every change in the light. I took photography classes in middle school and joined the yearbook staff in high school. Wherever life has taken me, I have always loved documenting people, telling their stories, and helping them look and feel their best in front of the camera.
I earned a degree in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of Utah. After having two children, I realized that the corporate world was not the best fit for our family. Photography gave me the opportunity to combine my creativity, education, and love for working with people while still being present for my husband and children.
After my youngest child was born, our family visited a studio for updated portraits. When the photographs were delivered, I was disappointed with the experience and the final images. That moment inspired me to build a photography business centered on personal service, genuine connection, and photographs my clients will be excited to display and share.
I am truly passionate about what I do. Whether I’m photographing a graduating senior, a growing family, a wedding celebration, or a local business, I want every client to feel comfortable, confident, and beautifully represented. My brother once told me, “Find something you’re absolutely passionate about, make it your career, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Photography is that passion for me, and I feel incredibly fortunate to share it with the people of Grand Junction and Western Colorado.
